Financial Inclusion
Access to equipment, inputs, and advisory only goes as far as a farmer can afford to use them. Gsent’s Financial Inclusion Drive works to close that gap.
The Problem
Cost, not interest, is the most common reason a farmer who wants mechanisation, inputs, or aggregation support does not use it. Upfront service fees and input costs fall at the exact point in the season when a farmer’s cash is tightest.
The Gsent Approach
Gsent’s Financial Inclusion Drive connects farmers to financing structured around the agricultural calendar, so the cost of mechanisation, inputs, and aggregation support can be met at a point in the season when it is affordable, not only at the point it is needed.
The Gsent Agent Network, Backed by FCMB
Gsent operates a network of local agents, supported by FCMB (First City Monument Bank), that serves two roles in each community: a point of access to FCMB banking services, and a registration point where farmers are brought into Gsent’s own system. The two functions reinforce each other, an agent who can open a bank account for a farmer is also well placed to register that same farmer for mechanisation, advisory, and the rest of Gsent’s services.

Service-Linked Financing
Financial inclusion is built into mechanisation, input, and aggregation delivery, not offered as a separate, disconnected product.
Banking Partnerships
Gsent works with financial institutions, including Providus Bank and FCMB, to connect farmers to appropriate financing and banking access.
Farm Data as Credit Context
Farm mapping and service history give financing conversations a clearer, more verifiable picture of a farmer’s operation.
